Domo is MVP!

Congratulations to Dominic. He was voted BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division League MVP. The winner is chosen by the league coaches. In addition, he was awarded Team MVP for the Leigh High School Boys Varsity Soccer. Domo played all 80 minutes of every game this year, including all pre-season games.

Dominic had a great season on a team with amazingly talented players. Tonight's banquet was a great way to celebrate the end of his last high school soccer season.

Goodbye, Leigh

Domo played his last game for Leigh High School on Saturday, February 27, 2016. As the winners of the BVAL Mount Hamilton Division, Leigh won a ticket to play Defending CCS Champs, Bellarmiine College Prep (stocked full of his AFC teammates) in the CCS Quarterfinal game. Unfortunately, even though Domo had a strong game, the Longhorns lost 2-0, knocking them out of CCS.

Looking forward to more great soccer as Domo will continue to go to the next CCS games to support his friends and teammates.

Leigh High School BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division Champions!

 

Congratulations, Leigh High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team! Tonight's win (4-2) made them the 2016 BVAL Mt. Hamilton Division Champions! Lots of talent on the team and their hard work paid off in hurricane-like weather conditions!

Domo Is SJ Mercury News' Athlete of the Week!

Domo was honored by the San Jose Mercury News today as the Athlete of the Week for Santa Clara County for his recent amazing week of soccer. It was very exciting to be recognized. Domo couldn't have had the success of last week without his amazing coach, Mario Farfan and his awesome Leigh Varsity teammates. Looking forward to a great high school season!

Domo Ends Week With 5 Goals and 3 Assists

Domo ended this week with his team,  Leigh High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team, winning their first two league games in very big ways. Domo had 5 goals and 3 assists over the two games. The whole team worked really hard and had great chemistry. Looking forward to next week and more amazing soccer!

Domo Helps Leigh Stage a Huge Comback Win!

Domo staged a huge comeback win tonight for Leigh against CCS Co-Champions, Mount Pleasant High School. Leigh was down 2-0, when Domo got two amazing goals in the 2nd half. The game was tied 2-2 until the final minute, when Domo chipped the ball over the defenders, straight to his teammate Neil Aoun, who, then got the 3rd goal, for the win! It was a great way to start the new season! Congratulations Leigh! Great job, Domo! (although Domo's name is misspelled in Leigh Athletics' tweet, shown above, it's actually catchy! Score-ich...Scorich.
